About Us
Meet our Board of Directors

Tom Gregory | President Board of Directors
Mr. Gregory has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University where he also did post graduate studies. Now retired, Mr. Gregory's career as an oil industry executive included 33 years of service with Mobile Oil Corporation. Mr. Gregory is a NASD Arbitrator with strong interests in financial arbitration, and is a member of the Torrance Rotary Club. Mr. Gregory has long supported the needs of the mentally ill and has served as a Board Member of HealthView, Inc. since 1980. His tenure has included terms as President, Vice President and Treasurer.


William W. Gargaro, PhD. | Treasurer
Mr. Gargaro holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Masters Degree and Doctorate in Physics from Ohio University. He retired after working for 30 years in the aerospace science and engineering industries with Northrop, and TRW Aerospace Engineering and Science. Mr. Gargaro holds memberships in various scientific organizations. He also devotes his time as a volunteer for Red Cross Disaster Services.

Mr. Gargaro has been a member of HealthView, Inc’s. Board of Directors since 2001. He is committed to providing care and housing to the mentally ill.


Marilouise Huff, RN, BSN, MSN | Secretary
Ms. Huff received her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees in Nursing from California State University Long Beach, and her Registered Nursing License from Los Angeles Harbor College. Ms. Huff spent a good portion of her career as an adult nurse practitioner and nurse educator in psychiatric nursing. Now retired, Ms. Huff has been a member of the HealthView, Inc. Board of Directors since 1987.

Ms. Huff is also on the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Friends of the Library and the Palos Verdes Women’s Club


Burnell Blockhus
Received Bachelor of Science and MBA from Pepperdine University. Employed for 15 years at Xerox in the capacity of Senior Service Management and currently serving as a Consultant in their Quality Control for the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Blockhus has been a member of HealthView, Inc.’s Board of Directors since 1980. For six months provided social service at Harbor View House in woodworking workshop for the residents.


Margaret DeCristofaro
Ms. DeCristofaro is a retired RN and is very active in serving and supporting many community organizations. Ms. DeCristofaro has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999. Her husband, Dr. Dom DeCristofaro, is the Teaching Head at the Division of Cardiology for St. Mary's Medical Center in Long Beach, California.


Robert Maxwell
Mr. Maxwell joined the Board on September 25, 2003, and is a retired English teacher from Torrance High School.


Margery Norris
Ms. Norris joined the Board on August 30, 2001, and is a retired from a career in medical social services.


John Slaught
Mr. Slaught holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a retired real estate broker and general contractor and was CEO of John Slaught Construction Company for 30 years. He has been a member of the HealthView, Inc.'s Board of Directors since 1983 and has served as its President and Vice President.

Besides his commitments on behalf of the mentally ill, Mr. Slaught devotes time to the St. John Fisher Catholic Church Ministries and serves as a youth baseball coach. He is the proud father of 4 children and 12 grandchildren.


Sally F. Strehlke
Ms. Strehlke joined the Board on April 28, 2005, and is a retired professor of Business Administration from El Camino College.


Honey Vindigni
Retired Clinical Psychologist who had a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for fifteen years. She also held a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Registered Art Therapist (ATR), and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). Ms. Vindigni has been a member of HealthView, Inc.’s Board of Directors since August of 2008. She also devotes her time as a volunteer for Los Candalistas a Palos Verde based non-profit fundraising group who donate to numerous organizations that focus on helping children and/or the environment in the South Bay.
