About Harbor View House
Harbor View House provides a wide range of critical support services including mental healthcare, nursing, as well as rehabilitative and transitional living care. We are especially proud of the benefits our clients and the community continue to enjoy through the creative programs developed at our Living Museum Art Center, and Performing Arts Center.

40 Years of Changing Lives, One Person at a Time...
Harbor View House overlooks the Port of San Pedro and was originally constructed in the mid-twenties as the Army-Navy YMCA. This historic building now serves as the largest unlocked residential facility in California, for adults suffering from serious mental Photo of Harbor View Househealth challenges. For more than 40 years, HealthView, Inc. has been offering various health and mental treatment, creative therapeutic and life skills programs to its Harbor View House residents. Many of these same programs are made available to non-residents who qualify and participate in our Behavioral Services Center. Our clients are referred by a wide range of social welfare agencies and hospitals throughout Southern California. In many cases, we are the only safe-haven available to those referring agencies.

We rely on a number of County and State Agencies to support the many programs we deliver at Harbor View House. Harbor View House also relies heavily on private donations», foundations and institutional grants» and community groups and organizations» for much needed help.
